| B I O | I began my radio career in 2001 in Valdosta, Georgia with RTG media (now Black Crow Media), while attending my freshman year at Valdosta State University. For the next five years I worked my way through college with stints on all of the Black Crow stations: WKAA 99.5 Kicks Country, WXHT Hot 102.7, WQPW 95.7 The Mix, WWRQ ROCK 108, and WQHL Big 98. Often, I would have shows on different stations broadcasting to different market segments at the same time. I adopted specific “personalities” with different names so as not to inadvertently “mix the markets” (OK, maybe “characters” is a better description – I’ll acknowledge them as personalities when I have time to see a therapist on a regular basis).
I graduated from VSU in December of 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Media with an emphasis in Video Production. Clear Channel Communications hired me as their Production Assistant to voice and produce commercials and spots for their six Jacksonville radio affiliates. As one of the few ubiquitous female voices in the region, I have produced and voiced thousands of pieces in the South Georgia and North Florida markets. I also appear live when the occasion arises; I emcee local events as well as conduct remote broadcasts. New products, regions and markets are my forte. I look forward to the challenge that comes with any new material or client.
